Brewed & Reviewed: Odyssey Brew Co

Here's an opportunity that we simply couldn't let pass by. With an ear to the ground via twitter and lips smacking at the thought of their beers from comments we'd read here and there, we've been taking note in recent weeks of a rather new and exciting brewing venture going by the name of Odyssey Brewing. Great reviews and positive words of praise have been popping up all over the internet for a good while now. When we got wind of a tap takeover by them and a meet the brewer experience at our favourite local place to be – Northern Monk's refectory here in Leeds, we hurriedly put it into our diaries and made our way along a couple of Saturday's ago.

OnRoundHay Festival - Leeds, Roundhay Park September 17th 2016 (FESTIVAL REVIEW)



 As far as the city of Leeds goes, it’s had far worse days, Roundhay Park returned as a live music venue, the sun shone throughout as people turned up in droves, no doubt taking advantage of the fine weather to make a last minute decision to attend...

White Denim (INTERVIEW & LEEDS GIG PREVIEW)



A decade into their career, at time of writing, Texan quartet White Denim are crossing the USA en-route to the UK and Ireland, promoting their latest album ‘Stiff’ a deliciously chaotic collection of tunes. James Petralli, Steve Terebecki, Jonathan Horne and Jeff Olson have the enviable knack of creating records containing the perfect blend of songs that either blow you away first take like the white knuckle blues of ‘Holda You, (I’m Psycho)’ or creep up and bite you on the ass such as the proggy, riff-laden ‘Mirrored in Reverse’.
